VYRUS 986 M2 INSIDE
The aerodynamics have been studied extensively in complex fluid dynamics simulation software and were done several hours in the wind tunnel to optimize its forms.
The goal of achieving a high penetration coefficient to improve straight-line speed was achieved without compromising the handling of the vehicle in fast and sudden changes of direction
The suspensions are connected with two connecting rods pivoted to the arm swinging, driving two rockers that regulate progression. Each of the rods pushes the barbell in the same way. The whole allows to use components very content in sizes and dimensions with a considerable weight saving and energy
The steering system inside of the wheel called Hubsteer that distinguishes the Vyrus since a decade, finds its natural habitat in this application. The system continues to be “antidive” that is, without dive under braking and resulting weight distribution on both wheels, which gives great security and stability
Brembo brakes, they vary depending on the model of 986 M2 to which they refer, in this case we have the famous GP4-RR MotoGP. The brake discs T-Drive technology are of 310 mm while at the rear we find the classic 220 mm controlled by a P2-34 caliper
The frame consists of two omega in Ergal (Ergal is alloy very valuable for the structure rigid) machined by a machine tool from a full piece. The two elements are integral to the motor and supporting both the swing arm front and rear as well as the suspension system
